Meet Archie: Archie is a friendly and affectionate two year old “orangie”. If you’ve ever been lucky enough to have an orangie in your life, you’ll know these kitties are special. Archie’s previous mom loved him very much, but unfortunately didn’t feel she was home enough and worried that he was lonely. She was also concerned that he had three seizures since 12/2022 and didn’t feel that she had the resources to properly handle them.

Archie came to Ellie’s in mid January and we have been giving him the opportunity to decompress and get used to his new surroundings. He went to the vet recently and was given a clean bill of health. Can we guarantee he will never have a seizure again? No. He has had 2 short ones since January. He saw the vet again at this time and was given another clean bill of health. If the seziures were more frequent, there are medications to help prevent them.
