Meet Athena!!

Athena joined our rescue as an emergency; in fact, while she was having serious complications delivering her kittens. This poor girl was in labor for 28 hours! Athena had 6 kittens; unfortunately, all passed away within 2 days. She also had some other medical conditions going on, including a severe infection in her mouth.

Despite all this beautiful cat has gone through; she is the SWEETEST cat!! She "melts" on you as soon as you hold her and will cuddle for as long as she can! She has absolutely beautiful coloring that pictures just don't show! She is a very tiny girl (we are hopeful she will gain weight now that her infection is being treated) approx. 2 years old.
