Miles was found by a volunteer on the side of the freeway between Ashby and Evansville (Mile Marker 81 ... so Miles was his new name!), attempting to get himself away from the road after being hit by a car. When rescued, he was nearly frozen. He was rushed to the Veterinary Clinic where his body temperature was so low it didn't register. Fearing that he was turn out to be a feral cat, everything possible was done to warm him up and save his life. As it turns out, he is an extremely friendly kitty who loves to be with his human. He has since been in a foster home with another dog and cat and does great with them, including letting the dog "bath" him!
