Meet Ginger!!

Ginger is a 3 year old Jack Russel/Beagle mix and weighs about 30 lbs and is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!

Listen to what her foster Mama says about her!-

She is pretty quite but will bark or kind of howl if she sees a squirrel or cat outside.She has been trained for an underground fence and enjoys the freedom of being off leash. She is also trained for a field collar and will come with the beep most of the time.  She is treat oriented and knows her name and will come when called or to a whistle. She has does not like chasing balls but enjoys squeaky toys!

She will play with other dogs, however needs dog friends that aren't the submissive type. She is a really sweet girl most of the time and will lay on the couch or chair. She loves people and kids , but needs her people to be in charge including the kids. She has never bitten or growled at any of us. She ended up with a fish hook in her nose this summer and was the most gentle thing and never growled or bit at us while we were trying to help her. she really loves kids,but I feel she need older kids that know how to be in charge and make her listen. She is strong willed and will take over if you let her or spoil her.

She would do great in an agility class since she loves to learn new things and is so treat oriented. She is pretty good with water and will swim but isn't a fan of rain. She does well on leash. When we first got her we noticed a limp in her hind leg when she ran sometimes. The Vet said her knee cap pops out sometimes, but i haven't seen that since last fall. the Vet felt she would grow out of it. She will go into a kennel , but doesn't like it. I have been kenneling her when i leave , but if she has enough toys around she is good.  She usually sleeps with my husband and myself on the bed. She does do counter surfing so no food on the counters. let me know if you need anything else.
