Curly is a very special senior dog! He is a puppy mill survivor...sadly, at 9 years old, Curly had never known human love or kindness; until he got to our rescue. He has an amazing foster family that is working with him on "normal dog" stuff. He is making progress and has come a long way from when he first joined our rescue!

Curly's Ideal Family:

• Curly will do best in a home with another dog! He warms up quickly to them and finds comfort in their presence.
• A home with older, dog-considerate children! Curly loves playing with his 13 year old human foster brother :) 
• A family that is patient and willing to go at Curly's pace to help him continue to flourish and learn to live happily with people in a home
• A family that understands he has special needs and although might not act like a "typical dog", he still deserves to live a wonderful life! 
• A family that has experience with a puppy mill dog or a dog needing help with socialization.
